Terrain Run 1:17:29 [3]
(injured)

From Forgandenny near Perth up through the woods and on to the open hill up to the fort beside Culteuchar Hill and back in an anti-clockwise loop with Alice on a gloriously sunny Sunday lunchtime. Right knee a bit sore on the descent (hence the "injured" flag).

Trail Race race 24:39 [5] 5.0 km (4:56 / km)

Hard effort at Drumchapel parkrun #146 on a sunny morning. Feeling the Helensburgh 10 K in my legs, but pleased to take a massive 3 seconds off my Drumchapel PB.

Trail Run 10:00 [1]

Gentle warm up and down.
2 PM

Brisk Walk 40:16 [3]

Brisk walk along West Highland Way from Sallochy car park to Rowardennan on a gloriously sunny afternoon, but just missed Emma finishing the Ben Lomond hill race.

Road Race race 45:38 [5] 10.0 km (4:34 / km)

Helensburgh 10 K in 45:38. A good effort which, unusually for me, felt like I was racing all the way (first 5K in 22:51, second 5 K in 22:47) and was my quickest 10 K since Helensburgh in 2015 (45:33).

Road Run 15:00 [1]

Brief warm up, and slightly longer warm down.

Orienteering race 47:43 [5] 5.4 km (8:50 / km) +140m 7:49 / km

British Relay Championships 2019, Middleton Park, Leg 1 for CLYDE M40 Team (5.4 km, 140m) in 47:43 (-5.05). The John Charles Stadium made a great arena, but my own performance was rather scruffy and disappointing with misses at 1, 6, 9, 14 and 15 (the last one the worst, where I ran up and down a straight track trying to relocate) adding up to 5:05 of errors. I should have done better, but we were always going to be well behind the leading teams.
