Trail Race race 1:15:23 [5] 15.0 km (5:02 / km)

Devilla Forest 15 K Trail Race 2019 in 75:23. Pleased with a concerned effort on a relatively mild day with generally dry conditions underfoot. Pushed hard from the last drinks station to get sub-75. Just missed this, but still recorded my best ever time by 29 seconds (75:52 in 2015) and a huge improvement on my last visit (87:07 in 2016).

Jog in and out of the Park.

Road Race race 26:16 [3] 5.0 km (5:15 / km)

Steady round Pollok parkrun #521 in 26:16, using the alternative course starting down the road and avoiding The Glade on both laps.

Orienteering 33:04 [2] 2.2 km (15:02 / km)

CLYDE training at Gleniffer Braes (part 1). "In/Out" course (2.2 km) at gentle pace in 33:04

Terrain Run 46:41 [4]

CLYDE Terrain Run. Up and down Cochno Hill at good pace with Mirjam (much faster than the rest of us), Ty, Alice and a returning Dave (first CLYDE run since Christmas) in 46:41 on a milder evening.

Wednesday Feb 13, 2019 #

Strength and Conditioning 1:00:00 [5]

Garscube Strength and Conditioning. Repeat of last week's session with one extra station. The usual 60 minutes, including stretching before and after.

Tuesday Feb 12, 2019 #

Interval Session intervals 59:00 [5]

Garscube intervals at the track. Warm up (2:00), then 15 (yes, 15!) x 400 m all between 1:38 and 1:42 except the third in 1:29 (entirely my fault - I was leading that one and got carried away) and the last one in 1:31, then warm down (2:00). A good hard session, followed by some brief stretching before we started to get cold.
