Perth parkrun #254 in 27:00. Jog round Perth parkrun on a chilly but sunny morning on our way up to ...

Orienteering race 1:21:19 [5] 7.0 km (11:37 / km) +240m 9:55 / km

... Short Brown (7.0 km, 240 m) in 81:19 at SOL 4 on Errochty on a gloriously sunny autumn afternoon with bright blue skies. Steady run with non-optium routes 8-9 and 9-10 and a few small wobbles, but lost it at the end with a 1:30 miss at 18 (when I couldn't see the control due to the very bright, low sun!) and a 2:00 miss at 19 (when I failed to see a 3.5 m boulder in an area of felled trees!). A disappointing end to a challenging run on a tough but fair area.

CLYDE Terrain Run. Cochno Loch anti-clockwise with Dave, Mirjam, Ty, Iain and Alice on a damp evening in 58:04. Steady effort. Needed head torches from the start for the first time since the Spring.

Garscube intervals at Todd Campus. Warm up with Robin (13:39), 1 x "1500 m" (6.19), 4 x "400 m" (around 90 seconds), 1 x "1500 m" (6:29), warm down with Robin (10:16). Good workout, session 59:43.
