Terrain Run 58:13 [4]

Early morning anti-clockwise look of 356 Trig with Thomas, Emma and Alice. Unusually dry underfoot. A good workout, but definitely the slowest of the four!

9 AM

Road Race race 23:29 [5] 5.0 km (4:42 / km)

Ruchill parkrun #63 in 23:29. Pushing all the way. Alice caught me with one lap to go then cruised away to a big Ruchill PB (23.07). Pushed for the line to get my own Ruchill PB by one second!

Road Run 10:00 [1]

Warm up and down.
3 PM

Hill Walk 1:28:27 [3]

Walk up and down Conic Hill from Balmaha with Rachel, Emma and Alice.

Terrain Run 59:28 [4]

CLYDE Terrain Run with Dave, Emma and Alice. Straight up The Slacks from the new carpark on the "new" mountain bike trail (interesting to see how much the mountain bikers have opened this old sheep track up) up to the trig point then looping back round to finish back the same way. Rain, with thick mist at the top. Up in 30.46, back in 28.42 = 59.28. A serious workout. Excitingly, the exhaust fell off the car on the way back home!

Note
(rest day)

My plan to cycle when I got home was scuppered by the rain.

Interval Session intervals 42:00 [5]

Garscube interval session at the track in the drizzle. Warm up, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 800, 600, 400, warm down pyramid session at a reasonable pace. Surprisingly near the front of the group (3rd, ahead of all the women, on most of the intervals). Good workout. 42 minutes. Knee fine.
