JK 2018 Long, Beaudesert, M50L (9.8 km, 245 m) in 78:14 [Championship time 77.14]. Long slog on a technically easy area with small wobbles at 11 (flag on ground, 45 s?) and 21 (went to wrong pit, 30 s?). Slow in the middle section 11-13 and then flagging a bit on the way home 17-23. A tough end to my JK. Sorry to just miss out on my third Championship time of the weekend.

JK 2018 Middle, Brereton Spurs, M50L (5.0 km, 250 m) in 45:51 [Championship time 46:28]. Pleased with a clean on a relatively technical spur/re-entrant area where I made lots of errors back in 2014. Nice to be inside Championship time (my usual measure of a good run).

JK 2018 Sprint, MOD Stafford, M50 (2.8 km) in 14.20 [Championship time 15.05]. Clean run on a super-easy area with no detectable navigational challenge. Caught 1 minute by Nigel Bunn on 14-15.

Overnight flight back to Glasgow, then took the car to the garage and cycled back home fairly briskly on a very pleasant sunny lunchtime in 20.46.

Full day at conference.

The first Spring-like day since I've been here tempted me out for a quick run over to the West Bank campus and back for a short run in the sunshine between the last session of the conference and dinner.

Full day of conference, including a walk over to the other side of the Mississippi and back for dinner in the rain.
