Hill Race race 1:00:32 [5] 10.0 km (6:03 / km)

Bog Stomp 10 K at Muishiel Country Park. Interestingly varied course: first 4 K is a full on hill race, middle 4 K is a trail race mostly in the wide tracks, and last 2 K is straight back towards the finish on the road. Ran in road shoes to protect knees, which - bizarrely - were totally fine after struggling to walk without pain on Friday! Started in "Wave 3" so catching slower runners most of the way. Similar (but not identical) course to last year with more bog at the start but less bog at the end (I think). Felt easier than last year, and certainly ran faster: 60:32 compared to 64.44 last year.

Ruchill parkrun #21 in 24:37. Steady round Ruchill parkrun on a sunny morning. Knee stiff at the start, but didn't feel worse by the end.

Terrain Run 1:06:50 [4]

CLYDE Terrain Run on The Slacks with Dave, Lindsay, Iain, Emma and Alice. Straight up the field and up to the left (reaching the trig point after 32:47 of climbing), then back down the long way (34:13). Total 66:50. Glorious views in bright sunshine at the start, light fading by the end.

Cycling 1:36:03 [4]

Bearsden to Milngavie to Torrence via Baldernock then over the hill to Lennoxtown, back along the cycle path to Strathblane, up the hill to Mugdock, and then back through Milngavie as fast as I could go. Started in sunshine, finished in gathering gloom with lights on. Good low impact workout for an autum evening!
