356 Trig loop anti-clockwise on a sunny if blustery Sunday lunchtime time with Emma closing on, but never catching, me. Very dry underfoot. Very pleased with such a quick time, even if the conditions were ideal and I had the incentive to stay ahead of Emma! The sole of my right icebug shoe detached from the upper on the climb ... probably the last outing for that long-serving pair of shoes.
Tollcross parkrun #209 in 23:03. Concerted effort to beat my Tollcross PB (23:11, set on my first visit back in July 2013), and I finally did it by eight seconds on my eight attempt! Working hard all the way (especially the hills), with a final push for the line when I thought I was just going to miss out. Sub 24 would have been nice, but pleased with the PB on a famously tough parkrun.

Gentle warm up and down before and after the parkrun.
Steady plod round Salisbury Crags in glorious early morning sunshine. Significantly more climb than in the New Forest earlier in the week!

12 hours later, a steady run round the Long Course (4.8 km, 150 m) at the CLYDE Evening Event at Mugdock South in 44.27. Steady effort round the nicest part of the area on a pleasant evening only slightly spoilt by accidentally missing out number 11 in the technical section.
Somewhat longer than intended run near Brockenhurst after I ran off my (rather inadequate) map and had to ask some walkers where I was. I'd forgotten how glorious the New Forest is on a sunny afternoon!
