Orienteering race 1:00:43 [5] 5.6 km (10:51 / km) +245m 8:54 / km

CLYDE SOL 1, Mugdock Country Park, Short Brown (5.6 km, 245 m) in 60:43. Control picking in the best part of Mugdock. Wet conditions underfoot. Pretty clean (with a couple of route choice wobbles), but really struggled to move through the terrain. A full 15 minutes behind Dave R (who was acting his age for once).

Trail Race race 22:18 [5] 5.0 km (4:28 / km)

Up at 6 am and arrived an unheard of hour early for Linwood parkrun #36 on a damp morning with puddles on the course. Focused on leg speed and running form, and so slightly disappointed to miss out on a Linwood PB by just one second!

Garscube Strength and Conditioning Session. Warm up, 3 x 30 seconds per station, warm down. 50 mins.

Tuesday Feb 28, 2017 #

Interval Session intervals 51:17 [4]

Garscube interval session: warm up, 5 min temp run, 5 x 1 min fast then 1 min recovery, temp run, then warm down. Felt terrible - a real struggle.
