Terrain Run 1:29:39 [4]

Long terrain run with Emma. Old Kilpatrick up to the top of the Slacks (35:47) climbing up into thick and chilly mist, then across to Cochno Hill (+14.16=50.02) still in the mist, and then round the 356 Trig hill and down to the road as the sun came out (+39.37=89.39). Good steady effort.

Felt pretty terrible, but dragged myself to and round Victoria parkrun #163 on a damp and chilly morning in 23.08. Overtaken by first (Ali McLeod!) and second place finishers just at the end of my second lap.

CLYDE Terrain Run. 356 Trig anticlockwise on a frosty evening with Emma, Lindsay, Iain and Alice (who was on my shoulder all the way up the hill) in 54:43.

Garscube Strength and Conditioning Session. Warm up, 3 x 50 seconds per station, "clams" exercises (which hurt much more than the intervals), then short warm down. 60 minutes.

Tuesday Jan 24, 2017 #

Interval Session intervals 1:02:46 [5]

Garscube Interval Session at Todd Campus. Warm up (15:05), 8 x 800 m in between 3.09 and 3.37, then short warm down (4:32). Session 62:46. Hard work!
