Orienteering race 57:39 [5] 6.7 km (8:36 / km) +180m 7:35 / km

Compass Sport Trophy Final, Tankersley, Blue Men (6.7 km, 180 m) in 57:39. Pretty good run on a fiddily area with an extensive path network and lots of pits and other contour details. A bit scrappy at the start as I got into the map, solid through the middle of the course, but a bit ragged towards the end (with a small miss at 20 and a hesitation at 21) as I tired towards the end. Very slow up the last hill to the final control. Just behind Donald P (56:07) and pleased that my 93 points counted towards an all-time best CLYDE performance of 2nd overall (14 points behind INT and 3 points ahead of EPOC) in the Trophy competition.

CLYDE Terrain Run anticlockwise round Cochno Loch with Dave and Lindsay on a damp evening. "Track" round Loch hard going in places.

Reasonably brisk round the bottom of Mugdock as the light began to fade.

Interval Session intervals 1:03:00 [5]

Garscube interval session at Science Park. Warm up (14 mins), then 7 x 600 m in between 2:23 and 2:34 (leading several all the way), then warm down (12 mins). Generally felt pretty good, but faded on the last two.
