Trail Race race 1:14:06 [5] 13.5 km (5:29 / km)

2nd Milngavie Trail Race (13.5 km, 500 feet climb) in 74:06. Sunhat, sunglasses and bottle of liquid needed on a sunny Sunday morning. Quite close to Emma at the turn (probably about 90s up on last year?) but faded a little on the way home. 69/196. Thomas 5th in 56:56, Emma 60th in 72:15. Slightly quicker than last year.

Trail Race race 28:32 [3]

Jogged round first ever Drumchapel parkrun #1. Challenging course with multiple climbs on rough but well maintained tracks. Passing local smoking "medicinal" cigarette apprehended by the police just before the start ... welcome to Drumchapel!

Cycling 25:00 [3]

Cycle to and from parkrun.

Orienteering 1:04:31 [3] 4.6 km (14:02 / km)

FVO WEE Polmaise, Green (4.6 km) in 64:31. Strange area consisting mostly of rhododendrons and a huge quarry. Big miss at 4 (where I re-surveyed a block of green the mapper had clearly never bothered to go into), and, more inexplicably, at 9 (where I missed the flag and then thrashed around for a while). Useful exercise on a gloriously sunny evening.

Hill Walk 5:30:00 [3]

Meall a Bhuiridh (1108 m) and Stob a Ghlais Chorie (996 m) from Glencoe Ski Centre with the family plus Ali and Gary plus Ben and Josie on a still and sunny day. Perfect walking conditions. Rocky underfoot near the top and on the arĂȘte between the two Munros. Steady pace with plenty of stops.
