Orienteering race 32:03 [5] 3.5 km (9:09 / km) +145m 7:35 / km

Scottish Relay Championships 2016, Balmoral, Leg 3 (3.5 km, 145 m) for CLYDE in 32:03. Solid run spoilt by a silly miss-punch at number 9, which cost the team the souvenir cheese for third Scottish team! Knee sore at the end.

Orienteering race 1:19:29 [5] 7.2 km (11:02 / km) +365m 8:48 / km

Scottish Championships 2016, Balmoral, M50L (7.2 km, 365 m) in 79:29 with approximately 4:35 of errors. Bad missed at 1 ("distinct" tree) and 3 (one of many boulders) but then got much better and started to really enjoy the "Scandinavian" terrain. Good fun after number 3! Knee exceptionally well behaved as well.

Reasonably brisk tour of a very quiet Mugdock on a slightly damp evening. Right knee a bit grumbly.

Garscube interval session at Maryhill track in the drizzle. Warm up (12:00), the 1 x 1200 in 4:25m then 1 x 800 in 3:19, then 1 x 400 in 1:35, then warm down (16:44). Session 42:43. Right knee tender.
