Orienteering race 1:29:37 [4] 7.3 km (12:17 / km) +455m 9:22 / km

Northern Championships, Mulgrave Woods, M50L (7.3 km, 455 m) in 89:37. Yuck! Steep and rough. By the time the running got easier (i.e. more on the tracks) on the second half I'd lost too much interest and expended too much energy to enjoy it. Missed one (possibly two) route choices via the tunnel in the middle of the map and did several river fordings better done via bridges. Not an area I'll rush back to.

Urban Orienteering race 51:19 [5] 5.6 km (9:10 / km) +190m 7:50 / km

Whitby Urban, MV40+ (5.6 km, 190 m) in 51:19. Uncharacteristically scruffy urban orienteering (missed 1, poor route to 3, good route to 11, straight from 19 to 22, poor route to 24) on a damp and blustering afternoon.
