Orienteering race 1:22:42 [5] 6.5 km (12:43 / km) +255m 10:38 / km

RR SOL 1, Elibank, Short Brown (6.5 km, 255 m) in 80:42 (including approximately 7:00 of errors). Slightly scruffy run (biggest mistake 2:30 overshooting the last control) on a steep and rough in places area on a sunny but surprisingly cold day. Disappointed with the time (11:08 down on the winner) but pleased to be 3rd/18.

Road Race race 22:28 [5] 5.0 km (4:30 / km)

Springburn parkrun #93 in 22:28. Slightly revised course (other side of the pond to avoid the mud) on a bright but chilly morning. Steady effort.

Terrain Run 1:09:29 [4]

CLYDE Terrain Run. Anti-clockwise round, but not actually up, the 356 Trig at brisk pace with Dave, Lindsay, Emma and Ty in 69:29. Wet underfoot. Dave and Lindsay took the direct route home via the bunker, we took the slightly longer usual route.

Strength and Conditioning 1:00:00 [5]

Garscube Strength and Conditioning Session. Three circuits of new exercises with 30 seconds for each station plus the usual stretching before and afterwards.

Tuesday Mar 1, 2016 #

Interval Session intervals 1:10:00 [5]

Garscube interval session. Warm up (15 mins), then a brisk 7 x 600 m (starting at the front for the final four), then warm down (15 mins).
