Steady round the 356 trig loop anticlockwise on a sunny Sunday evening. Very wet underfoot. Felt much better than the time (59:28) suggests. No further work on the track under the pylons but - and perhaps this was just a trick of the light - the Baljaffrey quarry seems to be getting very close to the south! Both knees felt pretty much okay, and they both certainly found the soft going much more to their liking than the hard cycle path in Oslo last Monday (the last time I ran).
Back from Paris to Glasgow via the Channel Tunnel. Inevitably everything went smoothly until Virgin Trains couldn't find anyone who could be bothered to drive our train from Carlisle to Glasgow! Ended up standing much of the way back on an overcrowded TransPennine train instead.
Steady early morning out-and-back run along the cycle path from the youth hostel into Oslo with Emma. Good exercise, but did something nasty to my right knee and couldn't run again for the rest of the trip.
