Orienteering race 45:06 [5] 4.9 km (9:12 / km) +260m 7:16 / km

Scottish Relay Championships 2015, Inverawe, leg 2 for CLYDE on Handicap 8+ relay, B course (4.9 km, 260 m). Steady run with a wobble 7-8 (-1.00?) but otherwise fairly clean. Much better than yesterday!

Orienteering race 38:45 [4]

Scottish Individual Championships 2015 at Ardnaskie and Airds Park, M50L (8.0km, 250 m). Huge miss at number 1 (8:31 split, approximately 6:30 error) then no energy, drive or enthusiasm to carry on. Gave up at 4 and picked up 17-21 on the way back to the finish. Very disappointing day, especially on an area I have run well on in the past.

Terrain Run 47:39 [4]

No STAG/CLYDE evening event this week, so a one-off CLYDE Thursday Terrain Run instead. Anti-clockwise loop of The Whangie with Iain M and Adela J on a damp and blustery evening. Felt surprisingly good, which could be a good omen for the weekend.

40 minutes (16.5 km, 990 calories) in the "pyramid" program of the exercise bike watching "A Bit of Fry and Laurie".

Tuesday May 19, 2015 #

Interval Session intervals 40:16 [5]

"Easy" Garscube interval session at Maryhill track, 1 x 1200 m in 5:05, 1 x 800 m in 3:31, and 1 x 400 m in 1:40. Session 40:16, including jog to and from the track.

Cycling 26:44 [3]

Cycle to and from Garscube.
