Terrain Run 1:07:15 [5]

Cort-ma Law on a gloriously sunny Sunday morning with Thomas and Emma. Very wet underfoot but great views and lots of fun descending. Climb 37:45, descent 28:30, total time 66:15. Fantastic to be out on the hills in such great conditions with the little guys.

Victoria parkrun #20. Good run on a clear and still but surprisingly cold morning. With Emma all the way, just behind and fleetingly ahead of her on the first lap (6:50) then slightly further behind her on the second (6:42) and third (6:48) laps and the run in (1.28). It was good to have her to spur me on to a Victoria parkrun PB by 10 seconds. Good to see the injured Donald Petrie spectating, but I'm not sure I managed a smile for his photos.

Terrain Run 56:00 [4]

CLYDE Terrain Run on a chilly evening. Straight up the Slacks (with driving hail at one point) to the trig point and then back down in two group of five doing a short o course. Plenty of mistakes and confusion on the descent (made harder for me by having a torch with the power of a candle and no map).

Strength and Conditioning 1:00:00 [5]

Debut at the Garscube Strength and Conditioning session at Scotstoun Leisure Centre. Probably my first "circuits" session for 30 years. One hour consisting of jogging, stretching, 3 x 12 stations x 45 seconds, and more stretching. No surprise that since my arms are virtually vestigial I was rubbish at all the exercises requiring arm and/or upper body strength. An excellent workout, and I expect to be stiff in usual places tomorrow morning!

Orienteering 57:36 [4]

Steady run round the "pairs route choice" urban orienteering course on my own about 30 mins after all the pairs had started collecting the flags as I went. Steady workout.
