This had all the important things - a run (good work) with best run partner Imo (it's been so long since we even saw each other), in the early morning (well that was a shock, good work getting out of bed) a very happy dog, and a chilly wintry Canbrrrrr morning on bush tracks on the Ridge called Bruce ( I really wish it had a nicer name). Walked for about 8 mins to warm up then we started running which felt hard at first because I'm still feeling tuesday in my legs. Soon running felt good and flowing, especially when distracted by catching up on all each other's theatre projects. No injuries or niggles to speak of. Perhaps my lower back had a slight tired ache to begin with but pretty sure it went away. No referred pain, sciatica, chronic pain syndromes. Just SO happy about that.
Also I feel my head doldrums are cleared after a too busy and emotionally demanding month. Good to have the Fred back from the coast for tea drinking too.
