Running (speedygeese) 20:00 [3]
shoes: helios - black

With Ruth and Ewen at the back of the speedygeese sun morning run from Ainslie shops. Ewen was doing short run/walk intervals which suited me perfectly. But after 23 mins I turned up the run-up route while they continued around Ainslie. I walked to top, did some stretches, refilled my bottle and marveled at the heat. Down CCT, then single track to S-tree where I had a break climbing the tree and taking some pics. Explored a couple more single tracks aiming to come out close to shops - nailed it! Ran into Dave Goose and had a chat and some silly pics.
Breakfast was very enjoyable, enhanced by Ewen's startling combination of pancakes, bananas, toffee wafer and ... gravy. Oops! waiter chose the wrong sauce bottle. Ewen ate a good few mouthfuls before deciding it wasn't right lol.

Early morning walk up majura from ttt with flan and oddie. Eric doesn't run anymore and since Flan misunderstood how much actual running I wanted to do he stayed home. Did just a couple of little runs. Knee felt pretty good again. Tiny niggle, often absent, could do full squatting for gardening afterwards. Actually saw sunrise on way there. Morning is very lovely, should visit it more often. Very very good to catch up with Flan as usual. Talked about food and metabolic health, carbohydrates, insulin, fasting period vs feeding period, and fats. she was low in energy and bit light headed, also slower but that would be expected while adapting to a metabolism leaning towards fat utilisation. Hope it helps

Blackie with Imo. Walked up pixie pump to circum, one lap, down same way. Did drills from circum, mixed run with some walk for a total around 20 mins. Hot today but knee and legs felt relatively good, just a little pain on medial side of L knee that came on after a while, then stopped as soon as run was over. Great to run with Imo company :) Surprised her with a beautiful birthday thick rough glass bowl; it will look great in her house.

Did a few chair squats for warm up

to yoga, to wendy's, home. Rode past the gathering of mt A run-up on way home, pulled hat down low and tried to look inconspicuous. I think I got away with it

Strength Stability Suppleness (yoga class) 1:30:00 [1]

pidgeon pose good for glutes stretch, and hip flexor of other side. Had tea and cake afterwards, then I picked some lettuce trees and gave M a rabbit foot fern. Last yoga til early feb, I will no doubt get a bit stiff and tight
