PB from OConnor shops to top of Blackie, at least I think it is. Didn't start watch right on start and haven't really chosen a start tree so had to add 15seconds so I can break it sometime. Wasn't intending to break anything but noticed that I ran quite well until the walk part, and that it looked like I could get there under 30 minutes. Oh 30 minutes, I thought, I am sure that's faster than usual. So I motored along with the special steep mountain walk (hands on thighs) to die at the top; happy.

We were joined by Paula (and Jarad) so I had some company at my speed - yay! Felt a bit used up but still managed a lovely lap with P chatting away. Along Moorhouse I had to declare a few walk breaks as legs were beginning to complain in the wrong way

Dinner was a win because I accidentally ordered what the staff actually eat. The waiter looked really pleased and it went down a treat. Hot and sour soup with a serve of rice spooned into the juice to mop it up. Great post run feed.

Another excellent class where I felt well oiled and balanced. Did 3 rounds of Salute - which makes 6 times. A good combo around Warrior and triangle pose with the reverse one where you lean the other way. Some side stretches - the waving bamboo (standing up with arms above head) and the walking hands to side while in Frog. Both excellent.

An easy run up Health run then around the far end on favourite mtb tracks. Encountered a well shaven mtber bending over his matching bike at top of Creek run. Just as I came level he said "F#ck off!". It took me a moment to figure out that he was cursing his hand which had grabbed the wrong tool out of his tool kit. He immediately apologised!
Stopped a couple of times for a minute or so and kept effort level nice and easy. It feels really good to be able to do this on a hilly course and rarely exceed breathing in 7s. Considering I did a lot today and was running on empty was surprised that the run felt quite cruisy. 2 cubes of cold potato beforehand helped, plus tiny pinch of salt in homemade bitter lemon drink - who needs commercial sports drinks and bars?!
