6:30am start and actual training that feels like actual training. Achilles is still healing but it feels like time to measure the running ints and build up slowly, but if it's stiff tomorrow am I'll ease up. Got up super early, had cup of tea and watched sky become lighter grey. Drove to blackie pines. Walked to top (17:30) down dirt st to Circum. Then did one clockwise lap of intervals of 1 min run/ 1 min walk which took 15minutes. Walked back to concrete and down. Running felt pretty light and fast considering. Trying to land gently to not annoy achilleses.
Didn't see a soul until last 10 mins so enjoyed the peaceful bush with a golden orange sun shining between low thick clouds. There were 4 balloons parked near Glenloch but didn't appear to be taking off or landing. A beautiful morning but it would be even better to start at 6am.

One hill to ease achilles after mornings efforts. visit to b&c 4 t.
After storm, wondrous sunset and new moon, stops to pick grapes, deliver to B&Cs and chat for too long (got stiff from squatting on footpath listening to bats). Then up onto ridge for headtorch walk and run on soft damp tracks in full darkness. Lights of the city clear and bright. Lovely night out and there enough exercise in between. Did a bit more running, felt ok.
While sitting in meditation I composed a sketch of achoral piece using a canon that I wrote some years ago. Now I just have to remember what I invented and fill in all the details which should take 2 or 3 weeks. Although I was supposed to be counting my breaths I'm not sorry (and no-one can tell you are being naughty).
From home, fast walk to top of ridge (21:12), down to gate on bikepath, back up hill to top with some short running intervals. An easier walk back home. Achilles bit sensitive after but overdid it only slightly.
