Walked home from rehearsal in Civic, cello and uke were delivered later. I was a tad overdressed for the warm day.

Strength Stability Suppleness 1:00:00 [1]

Backyard style cricket on lyneham oval for chenni's Crisbee and Fricket party. I am totally unskilled at cricket except for running between wickets. Enjoyed batting and bowling all the same, especially my second ever ball which clean bowled out the poor batsman. I was more surprised than anybody. By the end of the arvo I was catching most balls that were thrown at me so much improved :-)
Then I attempted archery. Oh dear! I lacked the arm strength to pull the string back. I have chicken wing arms :-/

Rushing to start the run at the blackie gate, passing Ric and Owen on the way.

Running (You've Got Options) 38:00 [3]

Ran and walked nearly to top from upper gate, turned with the others back to Circum. Jane G and Jenni joined us today to swell the ranks of female runners from the usual 1. Warm, balmy and delightful and just manageable without headtorches with a clockwise loop. I kept up a good pace on circum (especially the downs) and ran much better than last weekend. Running was feeling good, company was great and legs are completely recovered from last weekend. I'm ready to get stronger up hills now yay!

Took a wild chance and tried a new dish this week; it contained "weegetables", also tofu and red beans. It was as tasty as its name. Tore myself away from the footpath icecream ceremony to sing with my other friday group (and very glad I went to this). Pity about getting no sleep and other areas of craziness in life at the moment, but at least I'm not bored.

A bit of commuting locally. Legs are feeling good again, should be ready for a run tomorrow. Really better do my Canb 102k race report before I forget it all.

Followed a commuting expert into Floriade which meant I got lucky with all the lights and time saving moves. Went via bike path to Acton Fairy Terminal. Felt great riding fast on a sparkling morning. But then I had to wait for 45 minutes while the others searched for carpark spots. Gotta love a bicycle.

Floriade is baffling, I can't understand the attraction at all. A pootle up Breakfast hill easily outclasses it. We were there for morning tea to celebrate a birthday so I had to go. Rode home slowly, shopping on way.

Felt good to turn the legs over after yesterday's big run. To Flan's and back for piano. Had a massage this morning and am a bit vague but otherwise very well recovered. Pretty happy not to be injured in any way :-)))
