Walking (Mt Tennent) 3:30:00 [2]

A good bushwalk with a non-running friend who walks at a good speed (probably my fastest walking friend yet). A cracker of a sunny clear day but as always there was an icy breeze on top. Left just after the runners but before the bushwalkers - offpeak time. The first group we saw were the Richards plus Simon just finishing and moving fast. There was enough lying in the sun on warm rocks that I got a bit burnt. The Lyrebird Winter Concert Series sadly seems to be over, one short rehearsal burst was all we heard.

Strength Stability Suppleness 2:00:00 [1]

Another vigourous gardening session for Lyneham Commons food forest. Shoveling mulch and driving wheelbarrows mainly. Arms didn't fall off this time. Glorious sunny day and a great community spirit amongst people. Ended up having an arvo tea picnic on a blanket on Lyneham oval afterwards with chenni, john and dan.

Running 21:00 [2]

A little run to clear head and warm up body before preparing for the show. Chilly wintry weather we are having! Happy that my timing was back on for the show after feeling a bit out of flow last night. I'm sure the audience don't notice any difference. Ben was on fire and had the audience laughing from his first line.

Running race (Mt Ainslie Run-Up) 20:04 [5]

A PB by 3 seconds, sort of. I missed the start as I was running up hill from the car. Ran against the current until I was surrounded by my usual crowd, did a U-turn and joined the run. My hunch is that I was disadvantaged by my extra hill start and at the top JH insisted that I would have broken 20 minutes (Doh!!) if I hadn't missed the start. But I'm not sure about that really... Anyway, I'm going to claim my PB and break 20.... next time grrrr.

Chilly cold air, bright sunshine and a good crowd of noobs. After over-doing it in the run up I had opening night for Short and Sweet. It went well and Ben and I are doing the best we can. The end is pretty good now hehee.

Running 16:00 [2]

Run down after plus an extra loop on the flats. A bit cold so glad to get back to car. Felt strong-legged today.

Walking warm up/down 2:00 [2]

Stretching legs out.
