2*blackie, same quarry loop, still clockwise. Carried pack weighing 3.3kg to make legs stronger.
First loop up in 12:26, total loop 22:45
Second loop up in 12:20, total 23:05
10 mins of warm up cool down including a bit of running to stretch out legs at end. Would have done a third loop but realised I might not make it to rehearsal in time. There was 20 minutes of dancing at rehearsal but not vigourous enough to log.

2*Blackie summits using same loop as wed. First ascent easy with stops for clothing, drinking and stuff. Down felt alright. 2nd ascent a steady effort in 12:06 with whole loop in 23:45 Walked down feeling that my legs had worked hard, and was feeling hungry and light-headed. I forced myself to do a cool down run along Bot gdns FT to road and back. It felt good to run on jelly legs.

2 hard walk reps of blackie in preparation for Stockyard Spur event on Saturday week. My clockwise spur loop goes up South Quarry track, left onto concrete and up steps to plinth at top. Down concrete to turn R onto Nth Quarry track, at bottom taking short cut ramp off firetrail to locked gate. About 0.8k and 150m up. Did 2 laps = 300m climb
From bike to top 15:50
Drink and walk down
Ramp to top 12:25
Down to ramp 11:20
Walked down to bike. Didn't push hard as my legs are *still* sore from sunday.

Note

My knees feel great today. It looks like I'm finally over the knee issues. So happy about this. Good thing I was conservative down hills yesty but it's not like I walked them. Hurray!!
