Running race (parkrun) 27:26 [3] 5.0 km (5:29 / km)

A Gindy parkrun PB of 12 seconds in spite of the walk breaks (about 3). It was good to make it to parkrun after a break of 4 months. Saw Scotty and Annabel, and had Brekkie with Gramps, flan and bhole, E+E, and met James, Emily and Callum and others... Love the social part of parkrun, it's good to be back. At the finish line one of the organisers said "It's been a while since we've seen you." So, they notice?!

Did a 5 min w/u and drills then ran along bike path for c/d with flan and family.

Running warm up/down 15:00 [2]

1 PM

Walking 50:00 [2]

Walk to top of stromlo with flan and E+E. Too sunshiney not to. I taught E to play "Boo!" with my hat on the way home. Great work operating the hat and peeping through a hole.
Absolutely stuffed by the end of the day and it wasn't easy to perform in Sink or Swim as warm up act to The Modern Gentlemen.

A high achievement day. Got a top 10 strava trophy for our run up East Little Black Mountain (4:14), reached actually 60.0kg with no rounding down, and assembled a bed with shelves and drawers first time with allen key and phillips head, and located a lost cat for a neighbour. Also the person I am coaching in anatomy passed her exam (she was the only one from her group that passed enough to be allowed to go on to the next exam). I'm very pleased and proud. It has been a Great Day.

Today felt a bit tough after more than usual in past few days, yet afterwards I felt especially good, more proud of myself perhaps? Anyway, the heavy tiredness seems to be gone (yay). Parked at substation, walked behind subst. to second spur up. Did some warm up drills then ready-set-go and start the timer to go all the way to top of LBM with no walking or talking. And that's how Imo and I got 7th on the strava leaderboard (time = 4:14).

Followed this with easy running down LBM, Callitris FT, turned R onto single track, L onto Old weet rd, underpass, short lap of frost hollow and returned almost the same way, then around south side of LBM on FT, down usual spur to substation. Imo did a bit extra and I was encouraging. Really nice route.

Rather tired so I'm not disappointed that a Mt Tennent climb is cancelled today (flan has a throat niggle). Back is still a bit tight and I can feel yesty's intervals in my hammies. And now it's raining. Good decision.
11 AM

Walking 1:30:00 [2]

With flan to top Majura returning a longer way. Bit windy great to get out and Eric and Erica expect it now.
I'm a bit tired today.

Cycling 30:00 [2]

To flan's and back. Wind made both commutes troggable.

Cycling 17:00 [3]

To yoga running late and into a headwind. The harder effort made me twitchy during yoga - amazing to sense a subtle difference and hour later.

Strength Stability Suppleness (yoga class) 1:30:00 [1]

Good to do Fish, and Candle flame which induces a case of somnia for the rest of the day, if there is such a word. I think it connects me with my inner tiredness which must be constantly repressed. Interesting!

Cycling 16:00 [2]

6 PM

Running intervals (Bilbys) 19:00 [4]

Bilby's ints. 5* Ints and recoveries combined for the 19mins. It felt so hard this evening. I don't really like doing Bilby's on the same day as the yoga class as it means legs are already used up and I feel more like going to sleep than fast running at the end of the day. Having 2 slices of toast and honey 15 mins before running didn't help much either...

Back felt a little tight during the intervals, but felt great earlier in the day for cycling and yoga and even felt fine getting up in the morning. So the exercises I'm doing are working.

Running warm up/down 30:00 [2]

w/u, c/d, drills and commuting.

Back a little tight, I think it was the slothful sitting after all the activity yesty morning.
