Relay training with all the other groups here at the moment. Pace felt pretty high on the first big climb but picked off my forkings nicely and by halfway I think I was sitting in third or fourth. Heard some loud noises behind me and turns out it's my boy Olav. Tried to jump on his train but realised too late that he was heading to a different forking and dropped a bit of time (mine was a fair bit longer too). Ended up in another group and some fun racing near the end but got outsprinted by Ricardo. Ah well, bit disappointing but also some positives, particularly that the pace with the top guys felt doable enough.

Running warm up/down 11:02 [2] 1.95 km (5:39 / km)

Orienteering 1:06:44 [3] 9.73 km (6:52 / km)
shoes: nvii Forest 1

Downhill intervals. First one was a bit sloppy but got better as it went on, then did the last two with Oskar which was nice to compare lines and put a bit of pressure on.
5 PM

Running warm up/down 5:23 [2] 0.82 km (6:34 / km)
shoes: nvii Forest 1

Orienteering 35:03 [2] 4.42 km (7:56 / km)
shoes: nvii Forest 1

'Super hell' - a really tricky course on an area that was like some strange love child of Mount kooyoora and the jwoc middle terrain in Hungary. Absolutely loved it, two mistakes where I switched off on easier controls but did the most technical parts well.

Running warm up/down 23:11 [2] 4.77 km (4:52 / km)
shoes: NB 1080 #4

Orienteering 35:45 [4] 5.66 km (6:19 / km)

Middle at Pegeurinos
Beautiful place, lush fast forest and huge rock formations. A couple of little errors and a bit of confusion over one where the tape was missing

Running warm up/down 5:20 [2] 1.04 km (5:08 / km)
shoes: nvii Forest 1

3 PM

Running warm up/down 14:14 [2] 2.82 km (5:03 / km)
shoes: nvii Forest 1

Orienteering intervals 50:36 [4] 10.08 km (5:01 / km)
shoes: nvii Forest 1

A training from the Swedish team camp here last year, each interval had a running section along the road then into the terrain for a few controls. Nice idea to simulate arena passages and a fun training on a real nice part of the map.

Running warm up/down 14:16 [2] 2.55 km (5:36 / km)
shoes: nvii Forest 1
