Aths Vic XCR at Bundoora Park- Men's Open
Quite early on I picked out a guy that I sort of know who's usually a bit better than me and set the target of sticking on him. Ended up in a nice little group with him and a couple of others that meant I was hurting from quite early on but still managed to hold on ok. Bonked a bit on one of the climbs about halfway through the final lap and dropped a little off the group I was with. Had a few come past me at this point so that motivated me to kick down and managed to just get past them and the guys I'd been with most of the way.

Think I ended up in 75th which is similar-ish to the last one of these I did except the field for this was much stronger so actually really happy with this. A good sign of my shape and a nice reminder of what real pain feels like (and how to actually get through this).
