Nice little exploration of some of London's parks with a bit along the river at the start/end. Definitely rated both Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common, a nice way to escape the city and the deer were pretty impressive.

Fulham parkrun
Pretty average performance, pacing was a bit all over the place with a really slow 4th k and still not quite over the edge of this cold. A bit weird having the course as three identical loops when there are 500 people racing because the last lap was a bit of a nightmare for overtaking. Almost had to slow to a walk on a couple of the tight bends and it was pretty hard work screaming at all the people running with headphones to try and get them to stop blocking the whole path.

Really strong group tonight and was working hard to try and hang in there, especially with each rep ending with a climb. After the 2nd 1500, the combination of a tiring week of work, a bit of a cold and the speedy pace got to me. Bitched it and sat out the next rep but that did mean I could finish the last couple properly.
Got an idea of just how good the good guys in the group are with the following kinds of conversation going on in the cool down:
Bloke 1- "I'm just not sure if I've done quite enough preparation for this marathon"
Bloke 2- "Nah I reckon you'll be fine, I did about the same leading up to that time I did a 2:18"
So yeah, some of them are all right I guess
