Re-twisted my ankle at point 3. This delayed my speed. I regained motivation on the long leg to point 9, where I was racing Eric Kemp!! From there on, I couldn't have felt smoother and it was an awesome feeling, reminding me why I do this sport!

Very strong race, minus skipping the second to last point... Given my 3 hours of sleep the night before, I simply overlooked it (actually ran literally right past it as Giacomo recounted later). If this score would've secured me a WOC spot, I'd be torturing myself mentally, but since I'm probably sticking around for a while this was just a learning lesson!
