This was a bit of a disaster. I didnt get any sleep the night (literally none) before and felt pretty bad when I started out, hoping to get through the 'bad patch' as can happen on longer runs. I knew fairly early on it wasnt going to go away so I just decided to press on and see what happened. Felt worse and worse until 50km and I just packed it in physically - my legs felt fine but I felt shaky and headachy and nauseous so I walked into the CP at 54km and called it quits.
Very disappointed. The no sleep thing happened last year but I got away with it somehow, I felt stronger this year but when one thing goes wrong it can all be for nought.
