The snow was amazing and perfect for skiing. It was fast and just soft enough for skating.

Orienteering (JDT Kickoff Microsprint) 3:45 [3] ** 0.4 km (9:22 / km)
ahr:112 max:134

Very fun microsprint with the mechanical punches on the ground on an indoor soccer field. It was really confusing, and a great workout for the thighs, but it was really fun.
This was the classic, where we were started off at staggered times.

Orienteering (JDT Kickoff Microsprint) 2:49 [3] ** 0.36 km (7:49 / km)
ahr:122 max:143

This was the mass start, where we were all started at the same time and we each had a slightly different course. Occasionally we had to wait for others to punch, but it was still just as good.

Running (JDT Kickoff Microsprint) 1:30 [3] 0.2 km (7:30 / km)
ahr:133 max:137

Diana and I made two laps around the soccer field just to cool off a bit from the classic and the mass start for the relay.

Orienteering (JDT Kickoff Microsprint) 2:51 [3] ** 0.41 km (6:57 / km)
ahr:127 max:145

This was the relay race. Diana ran the first leg and I ran the second one. Even though her dad started at least a good ten seconds before me, I still caught up to him and we tied because after the last control we both paused out of confusion to look at the map.

Orienteering (JDT Kickoff Microsprint) 2:03 [3] ** 0.4 km (5:07 / km)
ahr:128 max:144

We did the classic course again, and it went nicely because I was already slightly familiar with what to expect and I developed a strategy for how to run it. Wyatt only beat me by 6 seconds! And this time I wasn't the slowest :-D

Running (@ Ashleigh Mills) 29:17 [2] 4.3 km (6:49 / km) +41m 6:30 / km
ahr:156 max:182

This was more of a leisure run. We started out at a very nice pace, under 6 minutes per km. But since my dad had his GoPro camera with him and he was filming, a bit more than 1 km into the run he twisted his ankle, so that slowed us down a bit. Also, it was snowy, so the ground was slippery and hard to run on.
