4 hr urban score o in Chapel Hill. Pretty grueling. A mix of forest and street terrain, looking for answers to questions that were supposed to become clear when we reached the control site. Some were not, such as a telephone pole number 20 feet up and a small, elevated Smokey The Bear sticker in a small tunnel. The map was 1:20000 with a 1:10000 map for the downtown and campus areas, but I lost my 1:10000 map just before entering downtown, so I had to use the nearly illegible 1:20000 copy. Still cleared the course, but the pace was slow for the last 3 miles trying to decipher the map and clues in the complex campus area.
