Orienteering 1:39:01 [4] ***** 7.5 km (13:12 / km) +300m 11:00 / km
spiked:11/15c shoes: X Talon 212

Red course at Miami Whitewater. Pretty hard to run uphill and on the trails. Also pretty hard with the hardest controls at the end of the course. My biggest error was control 9, in a small shallow reentrant in a complex area. When I couldn't find it, I re-attacked from the north instead of the west. About 7 min lost. My other major error was 4, which I easily relocated using a trail. About 2-3 min lost. The weather was about 30 with about 5-6 inches of snow on the ground and (luckily) icy creeks. This one probably ranks #2 on my list of most technical o-courses completed.
