Walking (Mountain hike) 3:00:00 [3] 6.5 mi (27:41 / mi) +775m 20:12 / mi

Hike up Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales which may have recently been snow'd on. Came up the Pyg Track, the second hardest trail, and down the Miners Track, a little bit easier. Checked out some old mines on the way down.

Running-Trail 44:46 [3] 5.37 mi (8:20 / mi) +54m 8:05 / mi

Sunday run along South Park for 0.5 mi, through the southern trail of Eaton Park and golf course, and through the wood. Then went down to A11 and Eaton Street along a slightly** slippery path. I was moving at 9 min/mi, but I was using enough power to go 7:30 on hard ground. It felt like I was just about to do 1 of two things, 1: sink into a huge pile of mud or 2: slide on my not-so-much-traction containing shoes into the River Yare. Came back pretty much the same way but I diverted around the UEA broad.

**The definition of slightly used here is slightly different than that of most AttackPointers, excluding the slight minority that may have slightly forgotten the definition of slightly.

Orienteering race 11:46 [4] ** 2.4 km (4:54 / km) +35m 4:34 / km

British Schools Orienteering Championships, totally prepared for this event and I came in joint first. Shipley Country Park is beautiful yet really muddy; lucky I was wearing my x talons. The beginning of the course was in a big field with lots of indistinct paths, all accurately mapped. The end of the course was on large tracks through forest with relatively simple control placements. the finish chute went through the biggest mud hole on the map.

All of the running and Orienteering in the last few months after s6d seems to be paying off. I think it would have not been hard to go just one second faster, however I must have thought I would not do that well.
