early morning running before breakfast. in spite of being somewhere close to hell on earth, benidorm has some great trail running. battery has run out on garmin so logging this one manually. time and distance bit of a guess.

cruising past two drunkards trying to pick their mate up off the floor just beyond my hotel made me feel really good about myself.

key session, wanted to get out and really test myself in

- heat
- terrain
- long distance

so this ticked all the boxes. ran out from wareham station, and did the gallopen brown course from back in march, that gavin clegg from WSX kindly sent me as a PDF. all good, cruised through terrain well and pleased with navigation and compass work.

hit the wall on around 2hrs 25, and battled through the last 25 minutes to wareham. a real struggle in 22deg, but worth it and good to have that distance in the bank.

foxdal intervals. 45x45sec with 15sec recovery, then accidentally did a 65 second effort at the end thinking i had one more rep to go!

good session, first time i have done foxdal intervals since sometime around 2001!! forgot how hard they were, legs burning with 4 reps to go!
