Beautiful morning to ride through London.

Sensational race! One of the best I have raced.
Was expecting a longish sprint style race but this morning checked the distance to find that elite was 8.8k. It was still a city sprint style race but with a number of long legs. Plenty of route choice, and plenty of times that I got stuck not being able to get through to the control. I had trouble reading the fine detail of the map, and at times couldn't work out how to get into where the control was. There is a section on the map with multiple levels, this was the trickiest and i lost a bit of time here.
I was struggling physically about half way around. Defiantly the worst choice of shoes... these should not be worn for running.
Already looking forward to next years race!
