Cycling (Conquer the capital) 5:20:00 [3] 145.0 km (2:12 / km)
shoes: Scott S10

Early morning start to Day 2 of Conquer the Capital for movember.
Didnt get much sleep during the night but we headed off at 6am awesome morning. Made good time through into Goulburn. Harry cracked about 30km from Goulburn and cruised in alone. That was his ride over. Poor bastard found it hard keeping up on the hills and destroyed himself doing so. He's keen to try again next year...
We headed out along Braidwood Rd.. Most boring road... I cracked... was looking for some single track... Sore arse and feet i called to get picked up from Tarago. Dan the man joined me not wanting to say anything earlier. Awesome effort by him seeing as the day before he broke his longest ride of 50km! I just told his to sit and Phil's wheel and that was where he stayed.
Im not disappointed not to make it.

Ride for movember.
Dan and i caught the train to rooty hill (westie suburb). I got a flat at central with my bike on my shoulder going up an escalator... great start
We hit the M7 bike path in 40+ temps getting to 43 on dan thermometer!
M7 was good but then we had to hit the roads to get to Camden. Then to the Razor back climb which we did up the old hume highway.. really shitty with no shoulder. Harry crashed when his bike slipped out on the edge of the drain. We then cruised into Picton, Thirlmere. It was dark by the time we got to Hill top and with no proper front lights it was a slow ride into Mittagong. I tried to call Phil to meet us here with a car, when i hit a pot hole and went down on my elbow and arse... Idiot
Phil came to pick us up with his step dad in his ambulance.. fitting as harry was dead
Organic steaks and sausages from their farm were fantastic!
