Run along the canal, 400m hard x 8 with a minute jog in between.
Was hurting and tiring during the last few.

10 laps of Regents park, alternating easy/hard.
Pretty windy and chilli but I was warm enough, just my feet were numb for the whole ride.
About 200m from home I was just rolling through the back streets when a car didnt give way at an intersection, I locked it up and slid and just like last time, hit the front right bonnet just as I was stopping ending up in a track stand resting against his car. Some guys crossing the rode said "I'd get f@#king angry man, that mutha phuker nearly killed you". Luckily no damage. to me or the bike.

Cold and wet..
Looked on strava at the best time of a lap of Vic park and thought I would have a crack, needed to also try and set a bench mark to see how I go over the winter.
Got to one of the last gates and it was locked so had to jump the fence. Also got stuck crossing the first road but not sure if my watch paused.
Missed out on the top time, not that its anything impressive..

Finally got around to going for a run after not feeling the greatest over the weekend. Ran the other way along the canal over Angel and back onto the canal to Camden and back, was wet and getting dark, a few pretty dodgy sections, some long under passes which were pitch black, random people just sitting in the dark in the rain. Has a very 1800s London feel.

6 on the ride today. Perfect blue skies, a little chilly. Todays ride was great. Rode though a lot more forested areas today. We copped a fair bit of abuse from drivers, even though it was sunday, and in the middle of nowhere. caught up with another bunch of guys and formed a nice peleton.
Pub lunch was a great way to finish the weekend.

Weekend in New Forest for cycling, eating, and wine!
Great group of mates, we were originally invited by Bendover but work commitments left him back in London. However I had if the past met Andrew Brunton at oringen in Gothenburg at the party. Andrew filled in some foggy memory of me up one flag pole and he was climbing the other, wearing his kilt! And Mhairi was at the training camp in Estonia when I stuffed my knee.

4 of us headed out and did a few laps in the New Forest. New forest was created by William I in 1079 for the royal hunt. There are sections of old forested areas and open free roaming farm land where cattle, and heaps of horses wander. Nice undulating roads with nice surfaces. pretty relaxed ride.
