Decided it was time to hit some hills on the bike again.
No really decent climbs around but Bellevue hill is ok with a number of options of where to finish.

2 00:04:32 1.36 - Straight up the rd

4 00:04:57 1.40 - Up and turn off and finish on Rosslyn

6 00:05:05 1.39 - same

8 00:04:03 0.99 - Kambala st

10 00:05:01 1.17 - Up Kambala and finish on march

Check out a new hill, cascade st in paddo
Pretty nice and a bit long and higher than loftus.

Headed out to try out my new wheels. Pretty happy with them.
Felt ok for most of the ride but struggled up the hills, def not climbing like i use too. And was pretty week heading back down the pacific hwy but hadnt eaten much.

Was feeling a little tire but got smashed by steve who was running really well. He committed as he ran past how ive lost all my speed on the flats... i dont think its just on the flats... Good to be doing this reps with someone else to gage what a good time to run is.

Ran a loop around the eastern suburbs with 12 climbs finishing at the boat shed rose bay. Entire loop will result in 15 climbs all up. These arnt massive climbs (not HC) more cat 1 but steep.

Have a cold but had to get outside.
Straight paddle over to camp cove and back. Felt great on the way there, trying to keep a good paddling technique (after reading Jared's tips in a mag). I new i had the wind behind me but didnt think it was that strong, turned around and the wind was pumping! Tough paddle home but i felt ok

Stopped to cross a road and must have pulled up on my right knee a little odd, a bit of pain. Started hurting a little later on a down hill...
Found a new stair hill which came out onto a road which i had never seen before but it came out near the top of loftus hill.

Note

Just went to check out why my rear wheel was so buckled (cant even spin, and slows me down when rolling down hills) to find a crack in the rim around one of the spokes! Shitty shimano wheels!
