Adventure Race race (AROC Sprint) 3:40:00 [5] 30.0 km (7:20 / km)

Raced with Mounty and Hugh. Was a bit worried when i woke sick on the friday. Lots of Zulu meds helped me get to the start.
Everyone hopped on a bus to head to the start at Shelly beach on the central coast. From here we had a short coasteering section up along the beaches to the Entrance where we had to swim the channel to get to the kayaks. From here it was a longish paddle across the lake and up the Wyong? river. We dropped the boats off and had to swim the river to get to our bikes on the other side. We had opened up a few minutes lead from here so jumped on the bikes just out of sight. The bike leg headed out through the bush along some dodgy tracks toward wyong and then out to Ourimbah state forest. We had to head across some paddocks and hike our bikes up to the top where we met the single track which we followed to get to the TA. A short rogaine bought us back to the bikes and headed back to wyong and to finish at Kooindah Waters (resort in the middle of nowhere). We headed off on the bonus leg just as team crank came in so we didnt have time to much around. Happy with the win! and Good to see steveo captain his work team in for 3rd.
Fun race and good to be pushed by the others.
