run from our house up the hill behind our place. same hill as dave and i walked up the day before. Really steep climb with about 600m climb. Ran along the to until it was starting to get dark. Ranback through the snow covered spongy fields. Awesome views!

Note

Went for a walk with dave up the mountain behind our lodge. Up to about 1000m. 10cm of snow fell today so might get some skiing in the next couple of days.

No snow in queenstown so went for a run up to above the chair lift. Climbed up to 1000m from 300m. Great run and awesome views.

Morning training with the group at rose bay. Start at 5.50am in the dark. Group of about 30 paddlers which was good. Headed over towards south head, stopping at watsons bay for a beach start. Good training doing mini races and stopping for everybody to catch back up (aka me). I felt quite good and was happy not to be the person who fell in. Got to work late.

First propper ride on the new bike. Head up the pacific Hwy and out to bobbin Head to Kalkari and return. Wet and bloody windy, and exhusted for the last half hour.
On the way back passed mounty travelling in the op direction. Put on a bit of a sprint to catch up for a chat. He looked to be enjoying his ride.....

Maden ride. Just went up to centenial park and did two laps. Bike feels great. Good to be back on the road!
