36 Deg so good time for some swim-run training.
PArked at the rock garden, ran down to the lake, stopping for a big brown snake not the way. Then swam to the nursery and ran around Weston park doing 2 shorter swims. About 2K of swimming and 6.5 of running. Felt pretty good on the swims.

Empress canyon.
A mate of Dave and Alina - Tim - took us on a easy short canyon down from wentworth falls. Cool little canyon, with some rock jumps and an abseil at the end. Felt good again after jumping in the cool water. Good fun

Ride out along King's tableland road to the lookout over Warragamba dam, then back to Anderson's trail and back around and up Ingar firetrail.
Got smashed in a storm but cool view from the lookout.
Change of clothes and a drive around to the Fairmont resort to leave the car.

Night Mt solitary loop.

Headed out from the resort (carpark) and down to Leura falls. Then along the most boring firetrail going around. Its bad at the end of the loop but at the start and in the dark its shit. Climb up Solitary is much harder and longer from this side. Had a bit of trouble finding where to cross the creek but its actually more straight forward in this direction. Trail onto was tricky to follow at night. Sun rose as we passes the castle. And we trotted along to Furber stairs and got a taxi at the top to leave a few leaches in and get back to the car.
Quick 10min nap out the front of the cafe before break and canyoning.
