Harvester Relays - Rushmore Estate - Course B, Leg 3.
Jane and Christine both had decent runs so my dawn leg was pretty much all in the dark this year. Started well except having to re-position my head torch to stop it continuously rolling downwards. Misjudged how far I'd run to #6 so left the veg boundary line too early and ending up stuck in chest high brambles. Went in too early at both #7 and #10 but corrected easily for both. Big mistake at #13 - was too far north on the path, and a bunch of un-mapped paths had me convinced I was in the right place. To top it off, eventually got to the control and did a classic convince-yourself-its-the-wrong-code move and did another small loop before realising. Lost ~7mins in total and very angry. Rage ran the rest. Easy navigation, just not fit enough to run hard on all the path legs. Surprisingly, only dropped 1 place despite the screw up.

Lisa and Anya both had really good runs bringing us up to 10th. 3rd on women's premier and 2nd women's handicap!

Very glad to be back running, still coughing occasionally but had breathing under control. Managed the whole hill and not as slow as expected. Slight confidence boost for tonight to know that I can still run.
