Tri-adventure Trail Run

Basically just a 2 hour trail run with a little bit of navigation using an OS map (score event with 15 controls). We started at 8.30am to try and avoid the worst of the heat. First half was fun and in the forest so not too hot. Got to the decision point just over an hour, feeling good and having done over half the planned controls. Decided to go for it and pick up a control with the hope I could scoop up all the rest. But unfortunately the second half was all in the open, I baked and hit the wall with 30mins to go. So finished super late!
Could've come 2nd behind Jonny if I'd stuck to the planned route but never mind :) Very much enjoyed being out of the house and running somewhere new.

Freedom!!!!!!

Very hot, sweaty run to the base of Wolstonbury and back with Jonny. Legs didnt know what to do and body died from the heat, but it was fun to be out!

Quarantine Day 10

Set up a beep test in the garden for some fun. Not ideal conditions with a bit of a camber and a step up from the concrete to grass but long enough for the full 20 metres. Made it to 11.8. Not the greatest, but then wasnt really willing to push either.
