Along the coast to North Berwick. Another route I've been planning to do for a while so finally got it done before I leave Edinburgh. Nice tailwind too.

Bit of adventuring in the dunes around Aberlady and Gullane, getting in the zone for some sand dune orienteering next weekend and testing out my mountain bike skills. Bit too adventurous at times as I got a bit lost and stuck in sand.

2x runners choice, 1x ungaffled.

1 - Struggled to get going in this one and finding the map really hard to read as it was a last minute home print. Physically feeling quite bad and just trying to hang onto Kirstin on the long running leg.
2 - Course more open and easy at the beginning so could get into the running a bit more and felt a lot better. Seemed to choose a good course as dropped Kirstin through this section. Not very good planning ahead through the tricky Deans Village part.
3 - Back to feeling slow and struggling to read the map. Too much trying to run fast, not enough reading the map.
