Absolutely stunning day for a run in the Ochils, not a cloud in the sky!

Ran from Alva Glen along to Tillicoultry, then climbed up The Law, Ben Cleuch and across to Ben Ever before dropping back down to Alva. Legs pretty tired after yesterday but it was worth it for the views and the run along the top.

Followed by a nice ice bath in the stream at the end.

ESOC Sprint Prologue from a few months ago - Uphall/Broxburn

Ran the first 13 controls hard then jogged the rest as I wanted it to be similar length to a qualification race. Couple of tricky route choices, got the one to 2 wrong. But besides that was just fast and furious. Suffering from 10 onwards.

ESOC Sprint Final - Uphall/Broxburn

Couples of hours off to try replicate WOC qual/final. Legs feeling pretty tired before even starting

Course was pretty boring tbh, no route choice at all besides number 7. No issues other than leaving number 7 when I tried to go through a small gap in the trees at the same time Jonny was coming through the other direction. Managed to get my foot caught in a hidden wire and fall straight onto my face down a small bank. Lay on the ground in pain/shock for about 1min then carried on. Bit shaky for a couple of controls after this then got back into it. Legs really suffering on all the straight road routes.
