SOL 1 - Elibank
Walked/jogged round the course until 14, then walked back to the finish. Cool area, navigation was good apart from number 1 :P

Walked round some controls at Teviothead focusing on some compass techniques. Good practice for JK long. Still managed to mess up one control with Beth and Conor, even though I was walking!!

Orienteering 24:23 [2] 3.33 km (7:20 / km) +65m 6:40 / km

Ultrasprint at Selkirk Pits. Super cool area with loads of pits and depressions. Found it pretty easy but was only jogging around/walking when it went off the tracks. Foot not too bad, bit tight but mainly just being paranoid.

shoes: Asics Trabuco Pink

Mass start sprint with gaffled loops at Tweedbank. Still just jogging but a bit more speed this time. Fun running behind everyone and watching the mistakes. Cut out quite a bit at the end when it started just being long running legs where you had to go far off the line to avoid impassable fences.

Along the NCN 1 and Esk River path to Musselburgh and back. Got absolutely soaked for half the ride, couldn't feel my feet or hands at all.

30mins fartlek as I don't have the patience to do proper timed reps spinning indoors, 10mins WD.
