Heavy, tired legs from the start and the soft sandy terrain didn't help much. Ended up being more a long training rather than actually racing. Kept taking track options wherever I could and was walking an awful lot. Was going to pull out at 19, but then I saw dad and he was looking even worse off than me :P So jog/walked round the last 12 controls with him. On the positive side...my navigation was good (for 50mins).

Mini-rogaine style made it quite fun, although the 2 controls to miss out were fairly obvious in the end. Main challenge was actually finding the controls on the map! Felt good running tonight, foot was fine too. About 40 seconds behind Shamus and 20sec in front of Bill.
