Note
(rest day)

My body definitely needed a day off.
Legs feel like they could use a trade in and possibley a new knee.
Plan on having a shrot run tommorow though to losen them up

Run to and back from Odell park for intervals

Running intervals 26:00 [5] 6.0 km (4:20 / km)
shoes: Asics DS-Trainer 14

we were doing intervals on a 500m loop of the trail.
500 meters - 1 min rest - 1000m - 2 min rest then repeat
times were
1:56 500m 4:09 1000m
2:04 500m 4:17 1000m
2:09 500m 4:25 1000M
2:12 500m 4:30 1000M

As you can see I went out way too fast and died at the end.
But I think that was to be expected after doing more running in the past 3 days then I have in 2 months...
On a happier note though my legs hurt like a mother licker so I had my first ice bath of the season :)

Second day, was feeling sore before we even started running...
Good run how ever, but I didn't get a chance to stretch after so my legs are now toast.

Finally pulled my ass together and went out to xc practice.
First run with the UNB xc team. Managed to keep up with the pack but was pretty sore afterwards.
