Gorgeous spring day meant breaking out the tank and shorts for this run!
Went down the stairs and along the beach to the path to Jericho, running felt good so was pushing it a bit to the sailing club where I ran the last 5 mins along the beach trying to prep for some marshes! Took a breather at the pier and then did 10 uphill sand interval sprints (5 continuous break, another 5).
Headed back along the beach for another few mins and then back along the path and up the hill!

Sworkit - big day signed a lease for a house next year!
Today was so nice to be outside - went for a early morning hike with friends and started on a bike ride with another friend on her penny board. But then she wiped out so that ended a lil early..

Good pace. Increased incline every 5 mins starting at 15. Short one minute cool down.

Intervals with Emma on very rainy morning!
15 min warmup from Vanier to the trails
Did a few leg swings/stretches
4x 5 min intervals zone 3-4, felt pretty good the second one we definitely accelerated but near the end it got hard because of all the trail head fence things to keep out bikes - had to maneuver around this and re accelerate! The third one was especially tough with the slight uphill and tired legs. Fourth one was better though! Pace not as consistent as it should be overall but a good effort by the both of us I think!
had about 3:30-4 mins moving rest in between each one.
Longer break and then a jog back to straighter trails for 4x20 second strides.
Good to work on kick but still felt strong.
Jogged back to res.

Yoga/Stretching 5:00 [0]

Did some stretching when I got back but my left hammy and right achilies are still quite tight. Tried to massage them and continue to stretch but we will see how they feel in the morning...
